VILLAGE OF NEW PALTZ NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the time of the Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of New Paltz shall be changed from 7:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on on July 8, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at New Paltz Village Hall, 25 Plattekill Avenue, New Paltz N.Y.  It is the intention of the Board of Trustee to immediately move to go into Executive Session for the purpose of interviewing candidates for the Affordable Housing Commission and the interview of an Attorney for Specialized Village Services.  Following the Interviews, the Board will exit Executive Session open the Regular Meeting at or around 7:30 p.m.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Trustees of the Village of New Paltz on July 8, 2015, at 7:30 p.m. at Village Hall, 25 Plattekill Avenue, New Paltz, New York regarding the adoption of a proposed local law to amend Section 212-23 of the Village Code relating to Site Plan review of one and two family houses.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that, pursuant to Article 8 of the Environmental Conservation Law (State Environmental Quality Review Act/SEQRA), a SEQRA public hearing will be held by the Village Board at the aforesaid time for the purposes of reviewing any SEQRA impacts relative to the proposed zoning code change.

Any person is entitled to be heard upon said proposed Local Law at such Public Hearing. Copies of said proposed Local Law are available for review at:

Public Notice

Over the next several weeks the Department of Public Works in conjunction with Merritt Construction will be working on a sanitary sewer replacement project.  The area of work will be Plattekill Avenue from South Manheim Blvd. to the intersection of Plattekill Avenue and Main Street.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of New Paltz will take place on May 26, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at New Paltz Village Hall, 25 Plattekill Avenue, New Paltz N.Y. for the purpose of entering into Executive Session to interview candidates for the position of Building Inspector II and to conduct any other lawful business of the Village as deemed appropriate.

Hydrant Flushing

Hydrants and water lines in the Village and Town of New Paltz will be flushed beginning Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 10pm. This may cause a discoloration of the water servicing your home. To resolve this problem, let your water run until it is clear.
