Please take notice that the Planning Board of the Village of New Paltz will hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 7 p.m. at Village Hall located at 25 Plattekill Avenue, New Paltz, NY. 

The purpose of the Special Meeting is to discuss, and potentially make determinations regarding, Part 3 of the Environmental Assessment Form for the Net-Zero project, PB16-02, 87-91 & 93 North Chestnut, New Paltz, NY.

Public Hearing To Be Continued 7/12: Tree Removal Local Law

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Trustees of the Village of New Paltz on July 12th, 2017 at 7:00 PM at Village Hall, 25 Plattekill Avenue, New Paltz, New York to consider the adoption of a local law updating the Village Code pursuant to tree removal in order to authorize personnel to perform emergency tree removals. This is a continuation of the Public Hearing opened on June 28th, 2017.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that, any person is entitled to be heard upon the proposed Local Law.  Copies of the proposed Local Law are available for review at:

Huguenot Street Closure Effective Today!

The Village of New Paltz is pleased to announce the permanent closure of a portion of Huguenot Street, between North Front Street and Broadhead Avenue, for the purposes of protecting the historic stone houses and creating a more environmentally and pedestrian-friendly park area in our community’s National Historic Landmark District. The closure is effective as of today, June 9th, 2017. Thanks to Huguenot Historical Society for your hard work on this project!
